From November 28 to December 2 the company Global Technology Solutions, together with the Fund "Kühne" (Kühne Stiftung) held trainings for teachers by certification program "Logistics and Supply Chain Management". During the week, speakers from the US and Germany, the University of Pennsylvania professor, Ph.D. J. Denny. Cho and Vice Dean, Professor of German Academy of Foreign Trade and Logistics (DAV) Ph.D. Andre Kreie (Bremen, Germany) shared their experience in implementing educational programs in logistics. The training participants were teachers of the capital and foreign universities. Professors and teachers improved their knowledge of the logistics & supply chain management, and received the necessary materials for the training of students in these areas. After the training, each participant gave certification test and received a certificate, confirmed by the "Kühne", confirming the acquisition of knowledge, in the relevant standards of the UN International Trade Centre.
On Friday, November 18th, one of our technical advisors, Mr. Farrell, presented on the basics of information security to Dr. Cho's Logistics Information Systems class of Kyrgyz State Technical University. The presentation covered information availability, threat modeling and mitigation and a discussion of two real-world examples of threats to personal and corporate information security.
